Consultation
The consultation process is a time for you, the client, to meet with us on-site and discuss your ideas and wish-list for your ideal out-door space. Consultation time allows us to get an overview of the scope of work to be undertaken and to get a feel for your personal style and preferences for materials, textures and plants.
At this stage we can provide you with an estimate of costs and a rough timeframe to help you get a picture of how your landscape will develop.
We also offer the consultation process as a stand-alone service if you want to do the hard work yourself or you already have a landscape contractor in mind.
Design
The design process is when the real work starts. After the initial consultation, we will assess the unique qualities of your property and architecture and combine them with our passion for aesthetically complimentary design.
From here we can create rough architectural plans of your landscape. These hand drawn plans enables us to further consult with you for fine-tuning and to expand further on any new concepts or ideas.
Once the rough plans are agreed upon, we can move onto more detailed blueprints. These will finalize the exact dimensions and locations of all hard and soft works contained within your landscape. These detailed plans will be either CAD renderings or hand drawn depending on the requirements of the project.
Construction
Now for the fun part. Assuming you have contracted us to construct your detailed designs, we will begin work on the date specified in the plans. Usually this process begins with clearing of the site and preparing access to the property.
Once this is complete our construction team can begin to install any hard works including reinforcing, concrete pouring of footings if needed, the erection of walls, digging of irrigation and drainage trenches.
Next comes the feature installations. Here we pay careful attention to tree and plant placement in order to maximise potential growth and to harmonize the balance between the existing architecture and your new landscape. After this we can begin the finishing touches; lighting, irrigation, ground covers, mulch and painting where necessary. A final clean up will have your finished landscape looking spectacular and ready for you to enjoy.
